ACCIDENTS AND DEATHS
Mrs Emily Bateman, 52 years of ape, and residing at 16 Durham street, Christchurch, was admitted to the hospital yesterday suffering from very severe burns on the lower part of her body. She was heard groaning by some neighbors, who found her lying under a tree in her carden. The only evidence of fire was a piece of burnt newspaper. Her injuries are reported to bo of a serious nature.
