The executive of the Otago expansion League met last evening, there being pre--■•nt—Messrs A. Bathgate (in the chair), A. Moritzsou, George Fenwick, Crosby Morris, W. G. Somerville, F. W. Mitchell, Fuier Duncan, and J. C. Stephens. It was resolved to approach the Minister of Internal Affairs, suggesting that arrangements he made to bring out Belgian women for domestic service, and the secretary v.as also instructed to write Mr T. Sedgwick, ami the leagues representatives in Glasgow. on the subject. The secretary was instructed to write to the City Council. suggesting that, it should instruct its officers to report as to whether there was sufficient ground in the neighborhood of Dunedin on which municipal golf links might he established. A special meeting of the Executive and Trades and Industries Committees of the league, with representatives from the Southland League'a ad Southland Chamber of Commerce,, has been arranged for Friday, to go more fully into the question of the Melbourne -B 1 u ff-Ha u • f.diu service.
