TO THE EDJTOa. Sir,—H was a great pleasure to those who enjoy music to see the various schools assemble at the Triangle to-dav, headed by their fife and drum hands. ‘ I do not know how many bands there were probably half a dozen at least, and most of these woie uniforms. The marching, playing, and appearance were generally very creditable, and those responsible for the fine appearance of the children deserve thanks. Several schools stood out markedly for conduct and appearance, notablv the Albany Street School children and their now famous band.—l am, etc., October 21. Musical.
