A Christchuivh message states that W. Dowding. an elderly man, was knocked down by a motor cycle last evening," and subsequently died in the hospital. At the inquest to-day it w;:s stated that deceased was a commission agent, ami married. A verdict of "Accidental death" was returned. To-day J,;lin Charles Walters. -,< ho was taken violently ill as the result of catitia a. rice custard ;it Mount Royal, was repotted bv the Hospital authorities to be slightlv better.
