Rain continues. The papers admit that the prospects are brighter, although the main wheat areas have not benefited to the same extent as the coastal districts. The Weather Bureau states it has been the best October rainfall in Sydnev since 1902. AJKLBOURXK. October 20. Air Fisher, referring to the judgment in the tramways case, says he hopes soon to be able to rectify these defects in the Constitution when tjie Referendum is adopted.
