A few minutes past midnight the fire brigade received a call from that part of Messrs Hudson and Co.’s buildings which is sublet, and where the Alliance Box Company carry on operations. On arrival the brigade found that the Qrinnell sprinkler had. worked well, and kept the flames subdued, and little attention was needed to extinguish the fire.
