SCENE IN A THEATRE
LIVELIER THAN THE PLAY. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. "LONDON, May 18. (Received May 19, at 8.45 a.in.) A dispute over the ownership of the acting rights of the Baron. Henri Rothschild Company's play of ‘ Croesus ’ led to a lively scene in the Garrick Theatre. Hansen, an American, obtained an interim injunction claiming the sole rights of the play, and that ho is the employer of Mr Arthur Bourcliier. Hansen forcibly ejected Bourchier’s staff. Bourchier secured a discharge of the injunction, invaded the theatre, and evicted the ilansenites. Chairs were used as weapons, and several people were injured on each side. Hansen has been arrested for threatening Bourchier with violence.
