WAS THE WHISKY DOCTORED? [Per United Press Association.] WANGANUI, May 3. In connection with the drink tragedy at Manuni, near Taumarunui, as the result of which two men, Gautley and Gillies, died, it transpires that two gallons of whisky had been procured from Waikato, which a number of men commenced drinking. Both deceased were assisted to bed, and two or three others are suffering from the effects of drink. A post mortem and inquest, have been ordered, and some of the whisky secured by the police is to be analysed.
