A TEMPERANCE DEPUTATION.
Replying to a deputation at Auckland to-day, the Prime Minister said if the Government brought down a Lirpinr Bill it would be a .9on-party measure. The deputation wanted the three-lifths majority abolished,, four years’ grace in the event of National Prohibition being carried, the restriction of one bar at each hotel, and a compulsory half-holiday for hotels.
