S'T-—Some weeks ago vrw drew the .attention of the authorities to the pest of dogs on the St. Clair Beach, and. in the following issue there appeared a. “local,” prompted by the chairman of the Domain Board, that instructions had been gi ven to deal with the nuisance before the article appeared. So far as one can judge the attempt to deal with the- brutes (if any has been made) lias only reused them to greater fury, and only on Saturday a boy just escaped a serious accident through being thrown from his bicycle b.y an onslaught from these savage mongrels. There is only ono remedy that- appeals to one. and that is by appointing to the board men who would have snine sense of their responsibilities, and an opportunity affords itself at the forthcoming election.—l am, etc., Watchdog.
