SY'DNEY', January 7. _ A large steamer is reported to have been sighted recently stranded on the Lihon Reef, off the Qucr.esland coast. Her mainmast and funnel are missing, and apparently she has been abandoned. The steamer was first seen by an auxiliary ketch bound for New Guinea. The wreck appeared to be that of a large tramp steamer. It is surmised that she was probably bound for Java or China. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS.
