The Bank of New Zealand have received the following table, advices regarding the present series of London colonial wool sales in London :*' Current prices for North Island fanners' lots : Coarse, cross-bix-ds. 36-40 quality, average condition. 9d to 9id ner lb; medium cross-breds. 44-46 quality, average condition, 9j]d_ to per lb ; fine cross-breds, 50 quality, average condition, lid to 12d per lb. Current prices for South Island farmers' lots, Canterbury style : Inferior merino, common 60-64 quality, B£d to 9d per lb ; superior merino super, 60-64 quality. 12d to 33d per lb; half or quarter-bred. 56 quality, average condition, 9id to 10>,d per lb." WELLINGTON, July 21. The, Customs duties collected for the. <lmuter were : —Auckland. £180.477; Wellington, £178.658 ; Christchurch, £105,629 ; Dunedin. £105.730; total for the Dominion. £721.184, against £653,745 for the corresponding quarter of last year. The g<:!d"duty for the quarter wj{ £420.746, and for the half-year £891,387.
