AN ENTHUSIASTIC SEND-OFF. GERMANY DELIGHTED. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 20. There was a brilliant spectacle at the Royal ball. The representatives from the Oversea Dominions, the Agens-General, and their wives were present. Their Majesties and the Kaiser and Kaiserin took part in the opening quadrille. The Palace was decorated with pink roses and carnations. Ex-King Manuel and Queen Marie Amelio visited the Kaiser and Kaiserin at Buckingham Palace. LONDON. May 21. (Received May 22, at 3.5 a.m.) The Kaiser and Kaiserin and Prinoses Louise had an enthusiastic popular sendoff. King George and Queen Mary said ’‘Farewell” to them at the Victoria station in the most cordial manner. BERLIN, May 21. Tho Kaiser, in corresponding with the officials here, has expressed himself as thoroughly delighted with the warmth of his reception in England. The Prince of Wales’s forthcoming visit to Potsdam is the principal feature discussed in the Press. Thu ‘ Mittags Zeitung’ describes it as the political result of the Kaiser’s visit to London. BOY SCOUTS IN GERMANY. LONDON, May 21. (Received (May 22, at 8.25 a.m.) Tho Kaiser expressed to Lieutenant general Baden Powell his appreciation of the boy scouts movement, which ho is introducing into Germany. BERLIN. May 21. The ‘ Norddeulschc ’ emphasise the spontaneity of the British welcome, and hopes that the visit will be of lasting value in the future relations of the two countries.
