He proposes to visit Germany after tho Coronation for medical treatment. In the course of an interview ihe South African Prime Minister' said ho is certain that the Conference will strengthen tho bonds of the Empire, which is tiie aim that all the Oversea Dominions have at heart. South Africa was prepared to take her full share of the responsibilities, whatever they wore. The commercial prospect in South Africa was most encouraging, aud their wool export was increasing. Mr Malau (Minister of Education), who accompanies Air Botha, will study university organisation here, with a view to the establishment of a South African University. .Sir Wilfrid Laurkr (Premier of Canada), Sir W. F. Borden (.Minister of Militia and Defencei, and the Hon. 1;. P. Brodcur (Minister of Marine and Fisheries) have arrived at Liverpool. GERMAN INTEREST. BERLIN, May 21. X’umernns articles arc appearing in the German newspapers on the Imperial Conference. The ‘Vor.sische Zeitung ’ refers to the enormous complexity of the questions affecting the rebuilding of the greatest Empire the world has ever seen. The world will await the decision of the Conference with interest.
