FIRE BRIGADES’ PARADE.

The St. Kilda Municipal Fire Brigade, tinder Captain M’Kenzie, with detachments from tho South Duqedin, Caversham, City, and Maori Hill Brigades, led by the Dunedin Highland Pipe and the Morniugton Bands, held a church parade yesterday at the Musselburgh Presbyterian Church. They mot at tho Town Hall, and marched via Prince Albert road and Queen’s Drive to the church. Tho Rov. W. T. Todd, of Middlemarch, was the preacher, and took for his subject ‘The Life of Joseph, or Faith and Duty.’ During tho coarse of a most interesting address he congratulated the firemen on their devotion to duty in their calling, and urged upon them the claims of the Master. Tlie church was crowded, and a large congregation also attended at the evening service, when the Rev. Mr Todd again preached. Tho brigades marched back to tho Town Hall, and before disbanding expressed their satisfaction with tho whole of the arrangements acd address.
