Press Association—By Telejrraph—CoDyrisht, LONDON, Novomber 30. Unless further notice is forthcoming, tho wool saleis will close on December 6. (Received December 1, at 10 a.m.) There was an animated sale for good wools, prices being stiffor, while inferior were slightly better. MELBOURNE, November 30. At the wool sales super, lambs' wool Bold at 20|d per lb —a record for th« season. Messrs Daigety and Co. advise thai their head office wired the Melbourne offic< on November 29 :—" Owing to a thick fo£ no wool 6ales' havo been held to-day Greasy merino wools, heavy, earthy, an< waety, fully 5 per cent, lower; merint wools of other descriptions unchanged , cax&fecad.-woola, rather firmer.
