The official report on the Broome cyclone states that sixty-seven pearling boats were blown ashore, twenty-eight sunk at their moorings, and ten aro still missing (six of them aro known to have sunk, and there is no hope for the others). Eleven bodies of colored men have been recovered, and forty more are known to have perished. Three whites are also known to have been drowned.
