LODGE MEETINGS
The anniversary gathering of the Hope, >f Caversham ljodge of Good Templars was Held last evening in the Kew P.M. Schoolroom. Bro. C. J. Thorn. L.D., presided over one of tho largest gatherings held in connection with the lodge for some time past. The programme was well received, a majority of the performers receiving encores. Th-3 following is a list, of those who contributed: —Piano duets, Misses Taylor and Cousins; violin solos, Mr R. Wilson; songs, Messrs Taylor, Stubbs, Ileeves, and M'Connell; vocal duets, Mr md Mrs Taylor and Mr and Miss Chihls ; recitations, Miss V. Rodger*, Mr J. M'Conneil, and -Mr C. Wilis. The chairman .•ongratulated the Committee on the great luccess which had attended their efforts, making special reference to the excellent appearance of the hall, which had been neatly draped in the form of an "At home." Refreshments were served, after which Bro. K. Cameron moved a vote of thanks to all who had in any way aslisted The mover announced that the iuture anniversaries would be so arranged is to have them on Show Night. 'God jaw tho King' having been sung, tho mdience were left to indulge in indoor pastimes for an hour or so, and Miss A. Hobson contributed a solo.
