TEA TO BE THE SOLDIEBS' I}RINK. This decision probably constitutes the most weighty endorsement of Its value as a beverage which Ten. has ever received. What makes this tribute to the virtues of Tea all the more valuable is the tact that upon the present national drinks of cofTee and beer ihe Germans have thriven exceedingly well. One has only to travel on a vicrman vessel to realise the largo quantity of strong coffee or auiber-colored lager beer which the average German disposes of. Yet his liberal libations in either direction seem in no way dotrhn r.lal. His appearance is usually one of joviality and health; The "typical German, says an Australian writer, " is not, us 1 hud imagined him to be, short, fat, and badly built. He jb above the general height, and is splendidly built." But tho German ideal in health, as in everything else, is the attainment of tho BEST. 'lhe authorities at Berlin have apparently proved Tea to be bcttsr for their soldiers' health than either coffee or beer, and for this reason the substitution in question has lately been made. A lot of nonsense has been talked about the injurious effects of Tea. The fact is, the beverage is rnly harmful when it is wrongly made and a poor tea is used. If TIGER TEA were aiways used, the health would be promoted. Freshly made and served hot, thero is no more acceptable drink under the sun. It's blended on the right principles, is composed of the best growths of India and Ceylon, and is indisputably a safe, good, d?licioii6 Tea. If you drink "TIGER," you drink a beverage that practically carries with it a recommendation of the most scientific nation in ihe world, not only because it it Tea, but because it is the BEST Tea.
