Tarrant, the ex-Victorian, took six of Surrey's wickets in the second strike, securing the last five wickets for 12, including the hat trick. Surrey's innings realised 206 Middlesex mado 201. P. F. Warner, who visited Duncdm a. few seasons with Lord Hawke's M.C.C. team, contributed 102 not out, batting right through the innings. 'TRIANGULAR TESTS. LONDON, July 21. The Imperial Cricket Conference have adopted ,i, f.-heme for triangular contests, and will submit it to the colonial representatives, -.vith a recommendation that it appears to be workable.
