We understand that Mr Jesse Timson yesterday sent Home an order for the oplacleido stop that is to complete the First Church 'organ, as originally designed by him. Mr R. Haw-oridge watted on the Education Board to-day with respect to the staffing of the School of Art- and Design. He expressed his appreciation of the manner in which his subordiiiates had worked, and said that tho classes were well attended, there being fifty-three classes with a total roll attendance of 793. Mr Hawcridge added that he was paying particular attention to the primary classes, a<= upon them depended the future success of the school.
