[Per ■United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, July 20. and Sons’ timber-mili at Xotara North was destroyed by fire last night. The damage is estimated at £.1,500 above the insurances, which are not yet ascertainable. The timber stacks and adjoining buildings were saved by heavy rain and the exertions of the neighbors. WELLINGTON, July 20. At a meeting of the Teachers’ Superannuation Fund it was reported that the amount to the credit of the fund was £192,733. Retiring, allowances were granted in four cases, and allowances ■to four widows and seven children.
