A NATION AMONG NATIONS. WILL DEFEND HER OWN. Frets Association— By Telegraph —Cbpyngrit. OTTAWA, April 20. (Received April 21, at 8.5 a.m.) • The Hon. L P. Brodenr, K.C., Minister of Marine, speaking at Montreal, referring to his and Sir F. W. Borden's (Minister of Militia) coming visit to England to com suit the Admiralty, said: "We want no militarism, but our better stand as a nation brings with itnneww w obligations. We won the power to make treaties where we were concerned, and we can claim we are a nation with a nation's responsibilities, and must begin to defend" our territory equally on land and sea."
