FIRES.
j An outbreak of fire in a shed at the ■ rear of the Boys' High School last about 8.30 necessitated the attention of the City Fire Brigade, which was given promptly and with effect, the fire being put out by the chemical appliances carried on the motor engine. A few boards j in the shed were destroyed.
