MEXICO, April 16. (Received April 17, at 8.35 a.m.)
Owing to a riot in the mining camp of Velardana, at Cowhuila, ceased by the mayor suppressing a religious procession, the military were summoned. Thirty-two of the rioters were killed, and many were wounded, while fourteen others were subsequently executed.
