MORE INTERNAL TROUBLES. Pres3 Assaciation—By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY. April 16. (Received April 16, at 9.40 a.m.) After a stormy meeting. Mr Thyer, president of the Labor Council, resigned his seat, owing to the- Council carrying a resolution that it was inconsistent for the president to accept a seat on. the Wages Board under the Industrial Disputes Act. The Council had previously condemned the Act. A FORTY-FOUR. HOURS WEEK. SYDNEY. April 16. The Council adopted a resolution in favor of limiting the week's work to fortyfour hours.
