LABOR LEADER FINED,
[Pek United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 16. A prominent local Labor leader, Mr M.J. Reardon, was charged at the Police Court to-day with assaulting James Purchas. The assault was the result of a difference of opinion at a recent meeting of the Trades and Labor Council. Reardon admitted the charge, his tinsel pleading in extenuation the provocate.: received. The defendant was fined 10b.
