Sir.—A letter was published in tho 'F.vening Star' a short time ago. in which complaint was made of the, annoyance J caused by the conduct of men and boys employed" at a certain foundry in a central part, of this City—namely. Cumberland .street. I have made it my business to watch these employees, and their oll'-sisivc remarks and whistling after ,respectable girls, aged persons, and Chinamen have been such as" to justify an appeal to the police. However, if it is repeated. 1 will inform th- firm, and if this is r.sel?..- I .will lay a. complaint with 'he police on behalf of my iiii'.rJjU'i's and others.
