Speaking at Battersea, Mr John Dillon, M.P., declared that the Nationalists would strongly support Mr Birrell's Irish Land Bill. It contained machinery for remedying the prevailing miserable conditions. He added that the party intended to fight against the foreshadowed increase in the Navy Estimate, as it was calculated to involve an anti-Irish policy.
