THE RIFLE MEETING
At Trent ha m on Saturday the day was devoted to service matches. Before the tiring oniino.ru ed Colonel Collins said that the programme, had been based upon an climate of 500 competitor*, hut the total number of rillemeu entered was 536. It had therefor-, been decided to give £IOO in extra prizes—£so for a Consolation .Match, open to all competitors who had not won £1 or over, and £SO to be distributed at the rate of £1 per man to the fifty men whose aggregate scores are nearest to the titty highest aggregates firing in the King's Prize Competition.
