.River height this morning, 4ft 2in ; weather warm. The master of the Punt dredge reports that prospects are fair. A wash-up of 1660zs 6dwt for February is reported by the secretary of the Roxburgh Amalgamated Mining and Sluicing Company. The Electric No. 2 dredge-master reports that the ground shows an improvement.
Electric No. 1 dredge has no wash-up to report.
The New Big .River Company report a return of boz 15dwt from the cyanide. The following Teporfc comes from Beefton on the results of crushings from the consolidated group of mines up to February 28 :—Wealth of Nations : Crushed 1,270 tons, yielding 4060z 12dwt, valued at £1,678 18s sd; cyanided 1,320 tons, which returned 181oz sdwt. valued at £632 2s 2d. Progress : Crushed 3,968 tons, yielding 1,0720z 18dwt, valued at £4,327 7s 3d : uyanided 2,140 tons, which returned bullion valued at £416 14e 7d.
