THE FIRE AT ROSLYN.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—The public are aware of the destitute circumstances in which the late fire at Roslyn has left Mr Boreham and his wife and family they having been able to do no more than save their lives. JudVin,, from the generosity and readiness to help when help is needed, of the residents of lyn and surrounding districts in the past I feel assured they will readily aid in the Present case, and enable the husband and father to make a fresh beginning for the support of his family. , AVould you, sir, with your usual readiness to help m deserving cases, consent to take charge of any contributions that may be sent you for this extremely desirable PW*? l sha U be glad if'tho public will kindly respond to the call of charity in this case, for which I enclose one guinea to set the ball rolling.—l am, etc., M.
