A BYE-ELECTION. 'Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, July 25. (Received July,26, at 8.55 a.m.) The election for Bodmin, due to the unseating of the Hon. T. C. R. Robartes on charges of illegal treating, resulted in the return of Mr Freeman Thomas, the Liberal, candidate, who polled 4,969. votes. Mr Sandys, the Unionist, received 3,876 votes. ; [At the General Election in January Mr Robartes (Liberal) received 5,201 votes and Mr H. B. Grylls (C.) 4,029. The Unionists have therefore reduced their minority bv 79 votes.]
