Some time ago the Otago Typographical Union agreed to show their "appreciation of the work in which the Reserves Conservation Society are engaged by raising a subscription among their members and others engaged in the printing trade, who were asked to contribute one shilling each. The result of their very thoughtful action is that Mr A. Bathgate, secretary of the Reserves Conservation Society, to-day received the sum of £8 12s from Mr A. Walker '(secretary of the Typographical Union). Other bodies might very well follow the example of this organisation by contributing to so deserving a body as the Reserves Conservation Society, who have done so much in the way of beautifying tho City and surroundings. This is the second donation that "has been received by Mr Bathgate through the same source.
