MR VICTOR BRAUND'S APPLICATION.

WELLINGTON, July 25. An application was made by Mr Victor Braund this morning to review the decision of the Chief Justice in granting a charm© of venue from Wellington to Dunedin of the action Braund v. M'Lean and Neill. Mr Braund urged that he would not get a fair trial in Dunedin, and offered to pay the cost of transporting the Colonial Bank books to Wellington. The Chief Justice refused the application, with costs (£5 ss) to each defendant.
