— This Day (Wednesday), .Fat Sheep.—2,2oo penned—a moderate yarding. A large number of those forward were medium quality wethers and ewes, with a few extra pens of fine ewes and wethers. The sale opened at prices ranging from Is fid to 2s- per head below tbose°ohtained last week, but finned considerably towards the finish. Best wethers, 23s to 255; extra, to 27s 3d; good wethers, 20s to 225; best ewes, 13s to 21s 6d; extra, to 255. Fat Lambs,—B9o penned. A fair yarding. Prices were about the same as last week’s. Best lambs, 17s to 18s; extra, to 19s 9d; good lambs, 14s to 16s 6d. Pigs.—l7s penned. Suckers, 7s to 11s ; slips, 14s to 18s; stores, 21s to 245; porkers, 26s to 375; light baconers, 39s to 435; heavy, 46s to 595. Fat Cattle.—2o2 yarded. A splendid heifer fetched the out-of-the-way price of £lO 15s, and a fine bullock was knocked down for £l2, ss. Outride these, the top price for bullocks at the time of going to press was £lO 10s.
