" A Visitor to tbe Home " writes: —Early ]u December of last year I made an appeal in your paper asking Irindly-disposed people to send m a supply of reading matter to the reading room of the Benevolent Institution as a Christmas gift, and T am informed that there waa a hearty response to that appeal. The magazines sent in at that period have now become somewhat antiquated, and I am sore if a fresh supply conld be forwarded it> would go a long way in giving the old people something bright and interesting to read. _ Will those citizens who take an interest in the home kindly send along any magazine, etc., of the past few months with which they are finished to the reading room at the Institution?
