THE HIGH COMMISSIONER'S “AT HOME.” [From Our Special Couerspojtdbnt.] . LONDON, June 1. The High Commissioner for New Zealand and Mrs Reeves gave an “ at home ” at their residence. 43 Cornwall Gardens, Kensington, on Monday afternoon, to enable New Zealanders in London to meet Sir Joseph and Lady Ward. Tea was served between four q clock and seven in one of the larger reception rooms, and the Alolian I/adies' Orchestra, dressed in Old English costume, played musical selections. Sir Joseph Ward’s party were present throughout the greater part of the afternoon, conversing wi.h many old acquaintances from the colony.
