The Duma has accepted the invitation of 326 members of the British House of Commons to be present at the Inter-parliament-ary Congress. The meeting will be held in London on July 23. Its object is chiefly to promote peace. [The proposed gathering of representatives from the Parliaments of the world wiU be held in the historic Westminster Hall. Its objects are primarily to help to break down the barriers of ignorance, prejudice, and racial antipathy which at present enter largely into the relations and dealings of one country with another, and to promote international friendship and peace.]
