THE APPEAL COURT.

WELLINGTON, July 16. At this morning’s sittings the case St. Hill and another v. St, Hill, removed into the Appeal Court for argument, was allowed to stand over, as fresh evidence is likely to be put before the Court, and tho case will probably be adjourned until next sitting. The case Gardiner and Sons v.’ Maw was set forward, as appellant’s counsel was ab sent in the belief that the Court would be occupied with tho St. Hill case all day.
