Cnrickshank, S.M., for the purpose.of taking evidence in a case that is to come before the Court at Alexandra on Monday next. The plaintiff ie John Alfred Peterson, of Alexandra, who sues Joseph Pieroo Lane, William Edward Lane, George Eether, and James Samson, as directors of the New Golden Beach Hydraulic Lighting and Dredging Company. The statement of claim sets out that plaintiff was employed as dredge hand, and that in the month of November last defendants promised that in oonsileraiion of his continuing work they would pay his wages. He now sued for £ll. 9s for wages, costs of the action, and such further relief as the Court might think fit to grant.
