Owing to an overcrowded boat, three midshipmen from H.AI.S. Bulwark stripped and swam across the 'ferry at Corfu. The Kaiser, baring that tire mur Of Ulysses Island had been shocked, signalled to Admiral Sir Compton Domvile: “I bear your midshipmen have b r ren shocking the good nuns by their costumes.” The admiral sig. nailed back: “ I have heard of the circumstance which your .Majesty mentions, but you are mirinformed l in one particular—these young gentlemen had no costumes.”
