The West Australian loan has been issued in London. Six months' interest is payable on November 1. Tho Oamaru 'Mail* states that from a farm produce point of view Oamaru has not known for a very long time such a dull Saturday as that of last week. There if-i literally nothing doing, and the grain markets are dead. PROPERTY SALE. Messrs Park, Reynolds, and Co. to-day offered a number of freehold properties at auction at their rooms, where a good attendance assembled for the sale. Bidin several cases failed to reach vendors' reserves, and a number of lots were passed in. The sales effected comprised a six-roomed house at the corner of London and Arthur streets, which realised £790. and a flour-mill (formerly known as Walsh's) in the Tokomairiro district. This lot comprised a five-roomed dwelling, flour and oatmeal mills, plant, machinery, water rights, etc, and 7a 13.7p of land.' The purchasers were Messrs Duncan and Son, and the price was £BOO.
