SYDNEY, January a In reply to a cable from Now Zealand, the Executive of the Bush Fire Relief Fund Committee wired that, in view of the Premier's statement and the liberal local contributions, no outside assistance was reqnired. MELBOURNE, January 9. The temperature to-day was 104deg, but it is now cool. A bush fire is raging in the Warrnambool district. CAUSE OF THE OUTBREAK. SYDNEY, January 10. (Received January 10, at 10.25 a.m.) Reports from the country attribute the origin of the bush fires in some instances to the phosphorus used in poisoning rabbits. The relief fund has reached £4,000. TWO OTHER FIRES.

BRISBANE, January 10. Two large bush fires are raging near the town of St. George.
