AUCKLAND, January 10.—At tie second wool sales of the season only 2,774 bales were offered. s Coarse wools were dearer, but for fine there was no farther advance. Fine cross-breds sold from 9£d to lOd; coarse do, 9Jd to 9£d; medium, BJd to 9d; half-bred, lOd to 10|d; Lincoln, 9id to %a ; Shropshire, 9£d. There was keen competition.
