NEW PLYMOUTH, January a The Taranaki tennis championship wa» continued this forenoon. Results?— Men's Singles (final). Parker bea* Dickie, 6—l, 6—4. Men's Championship Doubles.—C J. Dickie and A. J. Wallace beat Parker and Tuke, 7— 5, 6—3.
Men's Handicap Doubles.—C. J. Dickie beat N. Caplen, 60—54.
Champion Doubles.—Misa Ntrrmeley and Balharry in the second round beat Mis Koch and H.D. Caplen. x In the Men's Championship Doubles, the play was very interesting. In the Singles Parker had a very easy victory over Dickie. Great interest is being evinced in the meeting this afternoon of the Misses Ntmneley and PowdrelL The weather is fine. The visitors were entertained at a dance or Saturday evening.
