DEFIANT VENEZUELA
AN ULTIMATUM FROM AMERICA.

The United States Government have sent an ultimatum demanding the fulfilment of Venezuela's obligations under The Hague Tribunal, and the remedying of other grievances. A decision is to be made before March, otherwise a naval demonstration and a seizure of the Customs will be made.
President Castro's mounted guns include nine 20-centimetre Creusots, which were originally constructed for the Boers.
