MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES
At the w«eldy meeting of the Hop© of Ihmedm Lodge of Good Templars Bro S Ingram, C.T., presided. The Alliance Yi3ited, and were received with a fraternal weleome. A motion of sympathy and condolence was passed by standing vota to (IT. Bro. Whale W Si/mOj!? in the, loss sustained by them in the death of their daughter,. Sis. Nellie Whale, and it was resolved to invite all members of the Order to attend the funeral. The harmony of the evening was of a sacred character and was excellently rendered, viz.:—-'Abide JKh me,' Bro. Carr; comet solo, 'The New Jerusalem,' Bro. W. Dil; 'The Holy City, Bro. eIL The vote of thanks to the visitors was responded to by Bro. Ingram (Alliance), Bro. Fletcher (Lily of the Valley), Sis. dark (Star of Freedom), and Bro. Martin (Evergreen). Ifc was arranged to 'visit the Alliance Lodge officially this week.
