The phonograph has a special attachment for repetition, which is recognised as the keynote of effective language-teaching, and it 'is claimed that rapidity of acquirement, with economy of the student's time, will suit from the use of the instrument. Thoye present yesterday expressed themselves as •well pleased with the demonstration. Some xecords were taken from those present.
