To Correspondents.
"Justice" points- out that at the Momington inquest on the body of John Thomas Harvey it was sworn by Mockford that his gun was purchased for 5s 6d. How, then, can "One Who Knows" affirm, in the fece of such positive testimony, that the gun could not have beeu bought for les3 than £6? Witnesses on oath must necessarily be preferred to irresponsible persons of tho " One Who Knows " type. " A Visitor to the Home " ought to prefer his complaints to the Trustee's, who will doubtless order a strict inquiry. That is the proper course to pursue. _" Inquirer."—Marshal MaoMahon (ex-Pre-rident of the French Republic) died on October 17, 1893.
